Rockin' the Brown Carpet

Here's what I wore a few weeks ago to church. I had to take a picture of myself, so it turned out awful. I wish you could see the cuteness. I felt like I was fit for the runway, rockin' my new leather skirt!
What I'm wearing:
Necklace: My new Cookie Lee pearl necklace
Blouse: Liz Claiborne, Goodwill, Everett. You can't see in the picture, but there's some simple beading all over the front of the blouse. It's really pretty.
Ring- Cookie Lee Bling Ring
Skirt- Value Village (I think! I think it was the one down by Northgate... They usually have the best stuff) It's 100% leather and I got it for $10!!!
Tights- They're ribbed! They're pretty cool looking in person- got them at Walmart believe it or not!
Shoes- Black Suede, Mossimo, Target

My Birthday Suit

Here's what I wore on my birthday- I wasn't naked! Kaylee wanted in on the cuteness too.
On Kaylee:
Cardigan- Forever 21
Pants- H&M She can brag about this purchase- she found them on clearance for $10.
Shoes- Urban Outfitters (they have one of the BEST flats selections!)

On me:
Necklace- Rhinestone bow necklace that I technically bought for Miss B, Cookie Lee
Cardigan- not sure, I swapped it to my sister who swapped it back to me and she has since taken it again... Got it at Ross or TJMaxx
Cream Undershirt- I actually got this in a package of two at Costco, by Mod Bod
Dress- Gift from Jessica! She's such a great gift giver!
Belt- from Goodwill, Marysville
Tights- old old old
Boots- One of my boot purchases from Famous Footwear after Christmas. Had I known I was going to be moving to AZ soon, I wouldn't have bought them. But I will wear everything I can while it's still somewhat cooler!

First Day at Church

Here's what I wore for my first day at the new ward. I've worn this before but never took a picture of it. And since I packed everything up and moved, I figured I could start over with wearing things I'd already worn. But, I've started over with my whole "don't wear the same thing twice" idea.
What I'm wearing:
Cookie Lee earrings- from Jennifer's "garage sale" which really wasn't too much of a steal, but still some % off
Cookie Lee Multi Charm necklace- I got this at Cara's party. Love this necklace!
Cardigan- George brand from Walmart, I got it at Value Village, Marysville
Dress- Vintage: Miss Onward, got it at Value Village, Marysville for $5!
Belt- gift from Megan Kint- she made it!
Tights- Ross or TJMaxx years and years ago
Shoes- Guess, TJMaxx

Let's just say, I stand out in the crowd. : ) We thought Marysville was bad...

What I Wore Yesterday...

Weird that I'm not in WA anymore! And now I have a completely absentee husband so I'm going to have to get really good at taking pictures of myself. The nice thing about this new house is the full length closet door mirrors (only in M and B's rooms unfortunately...)

So it's a little more than just a dress and cardigan but seriously, boots and tights shouldn't make that much of a difference in January! But I was sweaty by the afternoon. It's unseasonably warm. Hopefully the February rains still come.

Old Navy cardigan, DI, Shoreline
Cookie Lee Bling Ring
Big white watch, Target (just got it this weekend, on clearance for $5!!!)
Mossimo dress, Value Village, Marysville
Cheetah fur belt, New York and Company, WA
Black tights, Walmart??
Knee high black boots, Ross

Miss you girls. There is really no fashion inspiration here so please, let's try to post our outfits on here!

Jessica's Church Outfit Sept. 4, 2011

Yep, larger than life!  No, no,calm down, just talkin' about my BIG cowgirl personality.  Inspired by the movie we watched last night, Country Strong. Waaaay different plot than I had anticipated, btw.
Dress: $1 Garage Sale (Marysville) find. Forever 21 Brand.

Boots: Trusty Threads (Marysville).  Bonnibell Brand. I don't think any more than $15. And I think I had a coupon that day, too.

Belt: Came with another blouse from TJMaxx (Everett), so we will just say FREE.

Jacket: Trusty Threads (Marysville).  Hinge Brand. I think I paid about $8.  I really should keep better tabs on these Trusy Threads finds.

Brown Undershirt: A Jessica Must-Have-on-Hand. Aeropostle (Everett mall). $5.

White Poppy flowerw/ rhinestone hair clip: Bought a long time ago for Emilia and she never wears it so...it is mine now.  Can't remember how much, probably more than I should have spent on a hair clip.

Jessica's Outfit August 28, 2011

I finally did it, I remembered to take a pic of me after church!  Not the most impressive outfit to start out with, but I had to introduce my new shoes!

Shoes: From Macy's (San Francisco!!!) that I got with a birthday gift card about 5 years ago, so FREE! N.Y.L.A. Brand. I covered them with scrap pieces of fabric I already had, buttons (Joanne's), and some jewels I tore off of a necklace I got for $1 at Trusty Threads (Marysville). I felt like Andy from Pretty in Pink, except the color scheme was so not pink, it was brown and all shades of green!
Nylons: Forever 21 (Alderwood Mall) for less than $5.
Skirt: GAP Outlet (Marysville). Not sure about $.
Shirt: Banana Republic Outlet (Marysville) for less than $10
Tank Top: Banana Republic Outlet (Marysville) for about $12, I think.
Bracelet: Handmade/Homemade with random pieces of jewelry from Michaels and ribbon/lace.

Kim's Sunday Outfit 14 August 2011

Besides the outfit, wanted to share my new hair with you. I chopped it all off so that Jessica and I will no longer be playing each other's stunt double- plus I've always wanted to go this short, so it was a good reason to just GO FOR IT!

Now, on to more important things: the outfit. I felt VERY cute today, so I was really excited to get this up for you gals. : )
